  • Hi !! He is so cute ^^

I'll begin agility with my gerbil too =)

But I need material, so I've a question : where did you find the material for agility ?

  • I left you a message in your inbox about the fences. Hope the info helps! :)

  • This must be Herman the Best In Show winner? Not just a pretty face then eh? :)

  • Wow, people in Ireland have heard of Herman? I'm impressed! :-D

Yes, Herman won Best In Show in the 2007 AGS Virtual Show. (I'm guessing that's where you saw him?) Herman competed in live shows, too, and earned his Championship at the New England Show in May, so he's retired from show now. He spends his time now with his son Sebastian. :)

Herman's definitely more than just a pretty face. He has loads of charm and is one of the sweetest, friendliest, most outgoing gerbils I've ever had.

  • Yes that was where I heard of him. I can't imagine how exciting it must have been to win BIS - my two won thirds in the Mottled and White Belly classes in the 2008 show, plus a top 10 in the People's Choice. I was on cloud 9 for days after that, lord only knows what I'd have been like if I'd won BIS!

I wish there were championship shows for me here to enter my gerbils in. I know I have a few that would do very well. You're really lucky!

Give Ch Herman a sunny seed from me! :-D

  • Ah, yes! I remember both Acadia and Sandpiper from the show! Acadia has such a pretty mottling pattern! (You should feel very good, too, that Sandpiper did so well in the White Belly class. The competition was fierce. The gerbil who won 1st in that class went on to win Best In Show at the Midwest Gerbil Show in October! So Sandpiper competed with the best! Congrats!)

Herman is taking a nap with Sebastian right now, but when he wakes up, I'll give him a sunflower seed for you. :)
