Grenadier Arrington is reviewed by the captain on parade.
For the Royal Sussex Society's 35th Regiment of Foot, a living history reenactment group, this video is intended to be used as a training tool for learning the British Army Manual Exercise. Covered within are the particulars of Revolutionary War musketry, movements, and a few other goodies.

@MrSchweden Yes, Schubert! You are quite correct, my mistake.

Just a little minor correction, Marche Militaire was written by Schubery not Strauss :p

@CrownRoyal1945 The first song is "Marche Militaire" by Strauss. The second is "Sussex By the Sea" (for the Royal Sussex Society). I've no idea what the last tune is.

@universalcarrier Thanks for the compliment. The feather is the Roussillon Plume, an old regimental tradition we do for the Royal Sussex Regimental Association in the UK.

indeed ! that IS a bess, very -very well seasoned and having seen service in both 200th and 225th anniversaries of the revolution. I have seen it in person, I believe it has been as far south as Charleston and as far north as Novascotia during it's service!

@1CommissarStrelnikov Its owner, whom I believe you also are familiar with, has likewise been as far South as Charleston and as far North as Nova Scotia! It's a Brown Bess that has a lot of character and a lot of mileage. The enemies of the 35th Regiment, however, seldom travel so much when they face us on the field. Six feet underground and no farther.
