Mutant League Football - Possibilities - Fan Creation -

This is a demo animation some of us EA Testers put together in 2005. Robert, Aaron, Manny & I all worked hard on it. See my games, music & more at www.josephhatcher.com

I am responsible for organizing the team, editing the video, creating the music, the textures, co-designing the dual changing stadium, and coloring the pencil outlines from the original characters.

We worked on it in our spare time externally of EA. We showed it at EA, but didn't create it there.

Two of the original designers that were at EA Chicago at the time liked what we did and planned, and multiple EA studios wanted to help us here and there.

Maybe showing this to people will jump up some interest so we can see some Mutant League in 3d on a current system!

The video is based on 3 characters we created inspired by the originals. We cloned them and animated them to show what the potential was in a 3d Mutant League Series. The stadium shown is transforming from football (US), to hockey

I would buy these in a heartbeat. I don't own a 360 or PS3, but the release of a new ML game for either of those systems would be reason enough for me to finally cave in and buy one.

if you made mlf like madden where it looked real like 7 on 7 instead of that fake ass blitz where there are only 3 offensive lineman then it wolud be an instant classic also add 30 year mutant franchise mode and stats with league leaders,create your own player mange your own team in offseason etc...,

With all the redundant sports games out there, MLF would become an instant classic like it's predecessor on Sega Genesis. I guess my only wish (other than the creation of this game) is that it also played on the PC!!!

This would be the most epic game if they made this and if they do make a updated game of Mutant Football they should have a character creation so you could make cool people but if that happens they shouldnt allow stat creation cause i hate it when people just make the character 99 on every thing like 99 kicking when you are a lineman

Screw EA. If they don't want to make another game then take it else where. They are sitting on a gold mine here and would rather use it as a door stop. And you know why EA doesn't want to make anymore Mutant League games? Cause more than likely, they would sell better than that Madden P.O.S. and they wouldn't want to jeopardize that. I saw take this to another company and let them make it and make the money that EA doesn't want to make.

@footballfullback Practically the same thing and the same thing are two different things. One was a Sports/Strategy/RPG while the other was a Arcade/Sim Sports game. That's like saying the Mario games and Grand Theft Auto are practically the same thing. And if you're saying that then you've never played any of the Mutant League game.
