The City of Toronto should not be in the housing business. Sell all city social housing apartments totaling 58,700 units. At an average of $100,000 a unit we can generate
$ 5.8 billion dollars (less mortgage) for the City. This would help reduce proterty taxes. Markets should be free to operate so as not to tax the general working public to death.
If you want to help people do it on your on time and dime. This country is very large and cheap housing is found in many small cities and towns.
