Here is a great example of a cheaper fare from Edmonton.

Edm to Maui on AIr Canada thru Calgary (one way) $249.00 for Nov 19 departure.

Same flight if you took from Calgary to Maui (Direct now of course) $519.00 Nov 19 departure.

You are on the same plane from Calgary but its $270.00 dollars cheaper if booked thru Edmonton...There has to be some reversal of driving up Hwy #2 for that one if you have 4 adults going!!Its Calgary driving to YEG to take advanage of a fare!!!

UNITE FOR MORE FLIGHTS??? What does that mean? I have to fly into that airport this summer. Sorry, Canada, you wouldn't get away with putting a 15 ft blue fist like that in an American Airport (especially San Francisco). It’s so kinky. It’s also soooo gansta'. @impressivetravels Those CEOs are not the target for this flash mob or other marketing events. The citizens of Edmonton are. If we respond to this campaign, then those CEOs will respond to us.

So the more flights will happen if we show them the numbers.  If you keep boosting Calgary's numbers all you're doing is inviting more flights to and from Calgary.

I only fly from EIA..No need for this silly driving around the country wasting expensive gas to find a cheaper fare and then driving back after your flight...No thanks...Not gonna happen...That's just buffoonery extraordinaire.

Our Airport is great and getting better soon with the new gates and hotel..

As far as people travelling to Calgary or even !Kalispell Montana!! (Thats Buffoonery) to save a few perceived bucks..Well it just dosen't add up at all.The price of fuel to drive there and time involved adds up to no savings if there even was one to begin with.
