@chingon1965 took them about a month or two. the alarming problem i had was at the range when the extractor pin, extractor, cocker indecator and some other parts literally just BLEW OFF. scared the bigeebies out of me.

@rollerbat no i havent, but i was told by the gunsmith at the gun store i purchased mine from that the pt945 is a pretty crappy gun. no offense. i decided to just get rid of mine for cheap. sold the gun w/ a NICE gun case and an extra mag and about 100 rnds of hornady hollow points and told the buyer of the problem. spice up the product w/ some goodies and sell it.

How long did the keep it for repairs? I sent my PT38S almost 3 weeks ago and havent heard from them. Same problem, ejecting spent shell.

@skylinedrake I don't even know. In fact until I googled it I had never even laid eyes on a PT38 before. All I can say is my search said the 38 was a "large frame" firearm and the 945 is also a "large frame" firearm. Other than that I don't know if the handles are the same or not. Sorry

had the exact same firearm. loved the look and feel. had a problem w/ it ejecting the shell as well as loading the next round. sent it to get fixed and it came back fixed with the same problem. (not fixed). sold it. didnt want a fatal malfunction on my behalf or my families. please get rid of that gun.

No worries, this firearm is not and never will be my home defense weapon. Even though i've taken a few times since this video was made with no problems I still do not trust it completely. A Ruger .40 is my home defense weapon of choice. Only because it's never given me a single lick of trouble.

The Video Says "FIXED" What was wrong (the problem) for which it had to be fixed please. thank you. JAMES.

The firearm wouldn't eject a spent cartridge properly, the empty cartridge would get stuck in the chamber of the barrel after the round was fired or the cartridge would get caught by the slide as it was coming forward to reload the chamber. Taurus weapons have a unconditional lifetime manufacture warranty so I just sent it back into Taurus and they sent it back to me with a new barrel.
