When anyone says we are not up to "god's standards" they basically are removing this god from the same moral requirements that we are being subjected to by that belief. It is basic hypocrisy, like a parent that says, "Do as I say not as I do." Only children would accept that and likely only until they grow up to know better. I've stung my own parents as hypocrites myself.

@thedutchman01 Mao Zedong constantly proclaimed his beliefs, just look up some of his speeches.

Have to say.
Stalin was an atheist. There is nothing to suggest he was theist. Dunno enough about Mao Zedong. But I thought he was an atheist too. But not sure as I haven't studied his life enough.

It is shocking how little knowledge of the bible many Christians have. You'd think they'd want to familiarise themselves, in detail, with the position of the creator of the entire universe. The creator of the ENTIRE fucking universe & he wrote a book!
Pity; it's an interesting collection of stories (&some woefully boring genealogies, detailed descriptions of tabernacles, etc.) & it's a fundamental part of our cultural heritage.
These muppets believe what's in it, without knowing what's in it.

@Zwemer100 Actually, Napolean, Mussolini, and Stalin was Catholic, Kim Jong Il is Buddhist as was Mao Zedong and Than Shwe, Jeffrey Dahmer was Penocaustal, Alfred Kinsley was agnostic, plus he didn't "exploint" children for sex, he was a researcher, and he pioneered the research of sexuality in humans, and Jim Jones was a devout Christian, he was just corrupt to the tricks they use which he used for his own gain.

I feel so bad for the caller, he has no idea what he is talking about. It's actually painful to listen too, but I finished it anyways.
