http://sogood.tv Heather Johnston, sponsored along with 20 other Brooklyn bloggers to try out Absolut Brooklyn, Spike Lee's new limited edition apple-and-ginger-infused Absolut vodka, demonstrates a great sangria recipe using red wine, apples, citrus fruits, vodka and ginger ale.

Visit http://sogood.tv for the written recipe.

Check out Heather's Rum Punch recipe: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SI1Lezicsto

Look for part two coming soon - boneless grilled chicken thighs with spicy vodka barbeque sauce.

Disclosure: Absolut compensated Heather for its product placement in this video with one liter of vodka ($22.99) and a mino Flip camera ($129.99). Her guests drank the vodka and she's not sure what to do with the Flip, since she actually already has one, and her blog is shot on Canon HD equipment, anyway.

  • NIce! I like your video! Very simple and just honest and down to the point! I need to try your sangria!

  • love your sangria!

  • Wow,

Strange enough for me, I've never drank sangria without a cinamon stick! And for my own recepy I add a nice touch of Port wine, a tawny would be just fine, and maybe, deppending on the wine, brown sugar...

    Oooh, soo goood...

  • I love Absolute...never thought of adding it to Sangria. Do you have a recipe for the Absolute with a white Sangria...That's my drink for the the 2010 summer.

Here is a drink recipe for my namesake: Jana (cocktail)~a cocktail served in the western United States made with St. Germain...liqueur, vodka, fresh basil and a twist of lemon served chilled in a

    martini glass (Wikipedia 2010)

  • Sangria! I haven't made some in a long time. I know what I'll be making this weekend! Thanks.

  • Nice!

  • I've been looking for a good recipe for sangria. This one sounds really good. Thanx
