Windows 1.0 took 90% of your ram and was butt ugly. You would not have any ram for things like games. Also this commerical is for Windows 2.0 or 3.0. The graphics in Windows 1.0 were really really bad and had very jadged fonts as they were not proportional like the mac was. You get what you pay for. Dos was a much better choice for sane people until the 1990s when Windows improved.

That was Windows 2.0 or 3.0. Windows 1.0 did not have those colors or the menu and title bars and the higher resolution graphics
