  • the theater scene was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @cr1scr1s1s Thank you!

  • Is this shot in Toronto!?

  • @djazr It is! Every scene of the whole show, except the movie theatre which is Encore Cinemas in Oakville, Ontario.

  • @OutWithDad Awesome! Maybe I'll see you guys filming one day!

  • @djazr If you ever see us, don't hesitate to drop by and say hello!

  • The scene on the train is amazing. I remember going through these exact moments.

  • This reminds me so much of a year ago when I came out to like... everyone. So weird, scary and terrifying but when it was done it felt like nothing else could ever feel better. Everyone was so accepting, except from a few people who i no longer care about. I could be myself without feeling that I had to hide something!

  • I've just started watching this and, since the dialogue in this episode brought it up, I hope Kenny DOESN'T turn out to be gay; I'd kill to see a straight male/gay female friendship in the media to parallel the ridiculous number of straight female/gay male ones.

Also, the "she was a progressive thinker"/"you have no idea" exchange makes me think Rose's mother was a lesbian. I hope that isn't just swept under the rug ("yeah, it's fine!")and actually creates the conflict that Nathan talked about.

  • Lol, I remember when two male friends went together to watch "Brokeback Mountain" just to see the people's reactions. It was funny.

  • The cinema scene is beautifully composed! Wow!

  • I liked his "conflict" observation. :)

  • Aha i love this 3

  • I've only just discovered this little show and I must say, I very much appreciate how the story is told form two perspectives. In my own coming out process, I have seen many LGBT shows/films/plays/what have you, but it is a rare thing to find any of these narratives taking the parents' perspective so seriously.

Plus her dad is very good looking! ;)

  • hilarious!! love it!

  • @datickywickygurl ou, that must have been aweful...

    my sympathies

don't give up, you will find the right guy (or girl? who knows..)

    i'm 16 and i don't have a gf. never had.
