  • Los Originales, way before Wilson Pickett stole it and claimed it as his . Chicano Movement!!!! Califas Style, C/S. Mi Raza Primero!. How we've forgotten our ways and now act like penche miates. Fuck that low life way. Carnales somos Latinos, Chicanos, Indios. Aztlan es mi Terra, Not Africa... Rise up and be Proud to be Los Originales again. They were Down For Brown! Let's be That Way Again!

  • @tiki1vato i think you need to chill on that viva la raza-crap....wilson pickett never said it was his own song and a matter of fact, many of bands and artists were "stealing" eachothers hit songs and redoing them so it's no big deal....besides, you shouldn't be talking about being original when a lot of music your "raza" loves so much is inspired by black culture, racists fools like you need to be hit in the head with a mallet

  • I love the fact that Paul McCartney loved the catchy beginning (na na na na, na na na et al - LOL) and asked this group to go on tour with the Beatles. What a thrill it must have been for them!!

  • Tiki1vato Way to tell the truth. El Chicano from 18th Street Chicago

  • I met these guys back stage at one of Murray the K's Holiday Rock n Roll shows at the Brooklyn Fox theater. I spoke to Frankie "Cannibal" who told me that his cousin who he called "Rabbit" had to leave the group because of his asthma. I hoped that they would go on and make many more recordings. This song brought everyone in the theater to their feet, and just about everyone knew the words and sang along. What an exciting time.

  • Love it!

  • great rocker...Who the hell came up with the Bands name anyway?
