Unknown Ghostly Voice During Comedy Filming: Clear EVP? Logical Reasons?

The filming took place near Robert Dukeson Avenue, Newark, Nottinghamshire. I was filming on a Samsung Omnia preparing from my cousin, Haydon Fern, to cycle through the puddle.

Once we had the suitable footage, we sat down to edit the entire shoot and got more than we bargained for. Fifteen seconds into the video a ghostly voice can be heard saying something like 'I don't know what I've got to do'. I'm no believer in the super-natural, but I'm struggling to find a logical explanation.

We returned to the site and repeated the circumstances with no success. We calculated that to be at the volume it was it would have had to have been within 3 feet of the camera. In this case, I would have heard it while filming, which was not the case.

I'm sure someone will have a very logical explanation which will be welcome.


Should you want to visit the scene of the incident, it isn't hard to locate. A large area of grass in the middle of Robert Dukeson Avenue.

The original comedy video should still go ahead.

I'm starting to suspect it was some form of animal. Possibly an escaped pet tropical bird? Some Googling shows they sound somewhat like that. It was near a rather wooded area, so it may have easily gone unnoticed.

Nevertheless it was extremely odd and more warrants further discussion.
