It's hard to believe that nobody wanted to give him a chance. This kid was/is rock solid all the way around. Torn ACL his senior year and he comes back to be an all american stronger than he ever was before. I listened to the all the D3 coaches yell about how they couldn't stop him DURING the games (while he was being the beast). For this kid with the natural ability along with his drive, motivation and natural hubleness to not even be picked up is a true tragedy. Wenger, you done GREAT!!

A couple of long shots whom scouts were buzzing about were North Central linebacker Matt Wenger, who ran a 4.58 at 233 pounds, and St. Xavier wide receiver Mike Maher, who showed excellent quickness in the shuttles.
