  • Why didn't I came down to this beautiful music/instrument earlier. It is sooo beautiful. Really this summer I wrote some music for flute, english horn, Bassoon, Djembe/Congas, Violine, Cello, and Double Bass. English horn fits so well for my composition. I am really enjoying this. Thanks for sharing.

  • @FilmComposeRaHoppe You're very welcome. The English horn truly is beautiful. It's used in television and movies a lot during sad scenes, probably because of how mellow it is. It does fit sad music very well. But, this piece demonstrates how beautiful it can be in an upbeat work, too.

  • @genmaximus110 My Favorite use of the English horn is probably Dvorak's second movement of the ninth symphony.

  • @FilmComposeRaHoppe That's a wonderful solo.

  • If anybody I emailed the score to still has it, could you please email it back to me? Somehow, all my scores got deleted from my Hotmail folder O.o

  • Bravo!!

I'm preparing this piece for an upcoming audition.

    Thanks for the upload!!!

  • Good luck!

  • un po troppo lento

  • @genmaximus110 If you did get the score back, could you please send it my way? I am especially looking for the piano reduction if anyone has it - thanks!

  • @FilmComposeRaHoppe There's a great excerpt in Rusalka's Song to the Moon (v=YLZuo09jD-I), also Dvořák.

  • Praticamente è uguale alll'aria di Lindoro nel Barbiere di Siviglia di Paisiello.
