Close Up to the Zi8

Just off the ski machine, hair still wet and T-shirt grungy, I interact with the Zi8 on the surface of my office desk. Using a small mirror behind the unit allows one to see what's in the frame. In my case it meant kneeling on the floor. The image quality, again, is remarkable to me, using the bundled ArcSoft MediaImpression software from Kodak. Much of it carries over to the 720p, full frame selection here on YouTube. I believe that this unit has been recently discontinued, which may account for the unbelievable price available from B&H and perhaps elsewhere. I want to see a two-shot with it, locked down and in decent light. The audio here is from the onboard mic and there is noise apparent. But plug in a mic and the audio is quite good.
