Owen Bridge of Annapolis Seeds (www.annapolisseeds.com) talks about growing peanuts in a northern climate. With the right variety and the right spot (well draining soil in full sun, with about 120 frost-free days) peanuts can be a surprisingly easy crop to grow.

  • Are those chilis growing behind you?

  • @jamesbphoto Good eye... those are indeed!

  • I'm so fascinated to think that we can grow peanuts here in NS. I've watched your video on Peanut propagation, So how do I go about ordering some peanut seeds from you for next spring?

My e-mail address is jeanie.degaust@gmail.com Thanks in advance for any info you can give me.

    Sincerely

    Would appreciate

  • @emerise09 Thanks Jeanie! Unfortunately for this year I've realized I won't have quite enough peanuts to sell after all... but next year after more multiplying I definitely will. I'd be happy to mail you a catalogue though with all the other seeds. By the way, OSC Seeds in Ontario offers the same strain of peanuts that I grew, maybe check them out if you want some for this season!
