installation instructions and specs for complete information.
We'll start off with Part # V75692, it simply takes a twist of the key and the top part comes out. Then this gets set around the coupler and slides down as far as you can put it on the coupler. You take the key out and it can't come apart and you can't pull this out of a coupler. We'll try it on a coupler next to show you how it works. The same steps as before, take you key and take off the top bar. Take the key out, open the coupler and place the ball inside, so it can't go anywhere, take your top bar and push it on as far as it can go. Give it a good tug so it locks into place and there you have it. To take it apart you put it back in give it a twist and pull your bar out. Then you unlatch your coupler and it's ready to hook up to your tow vehicle. Now we'll show you how this works with a popular trigger style coupler.
@cobyguy1000 I'm sorry your trailer got stolen. Unfortunately, all locks are only theft-deterrents, nothing is theft-proof. Many of these locks will deter thieves simply by being on the trailer, but a determined individual with the right tools can get through any lock, if they have the determination.

Don't buy one of these. I had a trailer stolen in less than 12 minutes that using one of these. Trailer and snowmobiles gone!
