...get that welder out , cut those frame rails off, bin lid the wheels , off with the front fender and muffler, make a nice
2 1/5inch exhaust with internal baffle and PAINT IT FLATT BLACK !!!
-
...just make some 2inch long spring preload spacers out of some pipe and pop them in ontop of your springs . It'll be tricky getting you fork tube caps back on so be carefull not to cross thead them. Also use some realy heavy fork oil like 10w40 motor oil ....it works great ! chopp

Upgrade to Eibach springs to match your weight, makes all the difference. Inexpensive and easy to install. Check my DR on vid.

yeah love DR's and still have mine, but the suspension is useless! Any one upgraded there's? and would like to comment?

pause at 28 sec........
testing complete: bottoms out completely
gotta love DR's tho
At 27.5 seconds you have bottomed out the weak stock suspension, slammed the bottom of the crankcase into the dirt, and maybe even torn the upper chain roller mount out of the frame. Nice. Now go upgrade the suspension, mount a bash plate, and remove the upper chain roller before you destroy your bike. You're welcome.

@RheoBee
Chain roller is off. Bash plate on. Still thinking about what to do with the suspension. I'm looking for a complete front end from a RM or a KTM.

You got like 3 feet of air that time! Can i try?...

@twistedkeys1
Trust me, you don't want to get more than 3 feet of air on the DR stock suspension.
