Ryan & Dawn Atwood [Coming Home]

Hey guys. This will be my last video for a while because I have a lot going on, but I really was inspired to make a video about the Dawn and Ryan relationship because I feel like it is extremely touching and underrated and very under-vidded, and it has become probably my second favorite relationship on the show after Ryan & Sandy. All mothers will probably appreciate this video.

Ben McKenzie and Daphne Ashbrook really made me believe these two were mother and son. Their relationship should have been explored nore on the show and these two actors were just wonderful in all of their scenes together.
This video is about forgiveness. "Coming home" for me is symbolic of Ryan forgiving his mom and reconciling their relationship.

I dedicate this video to my mom and also to my friend, Jeremy, who helped inspire me to make it.

Were you able to hear the dialogue well for the part where Dawn is in jail, and for the scene at the end where Ryan and Dawn are talking by her locker? It seems that if someone has loud speakers, they hear it all just fine, but with a regular laptop, the background music overshadows it and it's hard to hear. The dialogue in those scenes is important so I need to know. Thanks!

Great work TC! AS USUAL :D Very well done video, as usual great song choice. I liked the pacing and the use of colouring and you are absolutely right, Dawn and Ryan scenes are extra compelling! I think my only criticism is that there doesn't need to be that much narration for me to feel emotional because I already sense it in the song and in their expressions. Make more videos soon :)

very touching video of mother and son, as a character i did not liked dawn, , but at least dawn tried to be a better mother for ryan,nice work,i specially loved the ending where ryan sees his childhood pics and then hugs his mom,very touching

o.t but i loved that scene from season 1 where dawn creates a scene and ryan takes her back to house, seth left summer and rushed to ryan's side really touched me in that episode, he really valued his friendship with ryan

by the time the video at 1:40,my eyes started tearing up,the fashback,the black and white effect..all just very perfect !!!! its sad,how Dawn actually always try to be better for Ryan,and the scene where the girl told ryan that he is Dawn's whole life..omg..this totally breaks my heart. thanks Theresa!!!! You are amazing !!!
