Hartmann OWNED Gainor! What Pollyannas like Gainor won't cop to is the abject failure of the first principle of Reaganomics: Cut taxes on the rich and the rich will invest the wealth back into our economy. They didn't. It was a con and a lie. They lined their pockets, offshored manufacturing, invested in derivatives and all that awful crap. Yet, Gainor and his ilk continue to sell the lie, which was a proven lie by 1984, and Joe the Plumber continues to believe it. This country is screwed.

Thom Hartmann is absolutely awesome. He is what the vast populace should be listening to and I am one that supports the idea of him being on TV right after or before Keith O. I find his use of facts to combat the ridiculous talking points to be refreshing and needed on a grander scale. Thom if you read this please consider doing a TV program, you would be great and the nation would be the better for it.

What a sympathetic guy. I think nothing is learned by debating with anyone related to religious/ other innovative void such as Fox News. Just listen to Gainor: zero fucking success in making a point. A rule of thumb: never debate a person who is paid extra to have a certain world view, e.g. a priest and Dan Gainor. Sophistic shit like this was proved idiotic in 500 BC.

I just rechecked and that Gainor did not site any sources for his myriad of claims. He sounds as if he had gone to no schools.

Thom Hartmann is as smart and well-read as anyone in broadcasting. But in this argument, all Mr. Hartmann do is review the facts that support his argument. He's doing no more than proving grass is green by pointing to it. Unfortunately, because of corporate media you hear too many Dan Gainors shoving tax cuts down our throats, pointing to the grass and calling it plaid.

I love Thom. Unlike so many talking heads today, he actually presents facts; not just "talking points". Why isn't he on during prime time? (I'm sure we all know why.. damn corporate media..)
