I di the Gua protocol twice, to see if it came back in between--and it did--so I know it works for me, and I didn't have to give up my 'products'. Right now I am off Gua to save money- but will get back on soon.

Ok then. I don't think quai is on script here, but i might do some more reading and look into it. thanks for the response

are you endorsing the book and product and getting paid? i am just aware of a lot of people who have tried this and it hasn't done a thing. But I mean if it has genuinly worked then good for you.

You're welcome! Guai is cheap and easy to get in USA, because it's generic/over-the-counter. Outside U.S., guai can be tough to find. Some Canadian folks on our support group have to fill their own capsules. The folks in the U.K. have a tough time, too, and have to find a doctor to write them a prescription for guai, (not an easy task.) Good luck to you, in finding the best treatments. I hope you feel better, and wish you good health.

There have also been studies on this and it has never been proven to be effective.

There has been one study to date, and it was in 1993. It was a randomized clinical trial, by two researchers, (R. Bennett & P. Clark). They concluded guai was ineffective. Unfortunately, in '93, the protocol was still in its infancy. It wasn't known salicylates block guai. Since '93, all guaiers are advised to avoid sals. I can do a blog postimng on sals if you'd like to learn more. -Diana

You bet! Share away! Feel free to share any of the info about treating guai and fibro that I have on my blog on this topic. My blog's at www.surfercouple.com. I'm glad that I could help. I saw Dr. St. Amand in May of 2006, and I am now 90% cleared. As I just wrote about in my blog, I just ran 5 miles at the gym! A total of 65 minutes of running!

Thanks! I'm working on a book on this same topic, (Fibromyalgia and the Guaifenesen Protocol,) and donating all proceeds toward finding a cure for fibromyalgia. I look forward to checking out the research of Professor Pall. Thank you. - Diana (My educational blog about fibromyalgia: www.surfercouple.com)
