This is my home built CNC plasma table running A candcnc THC and Mach3 control. I am using A Hypertherm powermax45 plasma cutter. This is 10ga steel being cut at 100ipm.

  • Moved to the outside. I use sheet cam and mach3 but can't seen to do this

  • @kevan417

That is called your lead in. There is settings under the tool for leadin/out in Sheetcam.

  • It looks like just after the cut is started that the torch dives down and actually touches the workpiece, then the THC takes over and adjusts the height. What's up with that? It shouldn't dive like that, should it?

  • @davi200

It was diving in the video. I have increased the THC delay so It wont dive anymore like that.

  • hi cool look nice your using mach 3 controller

hi im new to MACH 3 controller users , i neet to know if i purchase the controller for plasma & oxy cutting machine i can directly use the controller or i need to do any modifications in contriller ?

  • Go to CandCNC.com and go buy his Bladerunner kit. It has all the electronics in it with the THC and Mach for a good price.

  • can you reverse run? are you using g28.1 or g31 for initial height sensing? thanks!

  • how much did it cost you all told?

  • Can you show more video of the table and it's construction?

  • You should be able to use an actual machine torch with that setup.

  • Sorted out the lead in problem, thanks much neater job;-)

  • Thanks for the info, I,ve got a couple of jobs to do today, I'll see if I can sort that out.

  • I noticed when the holes were cut it started in the centre of the hole then

  • great work. you inspire me, will build, thx.
