Autotune isn't so bad, until you start noticing it. That's when you start wondering about those who NEED to use it, about the motives and objectives of those who are promoting them in the first place, and about those who care less whether their favorite artist can sing in tune or not.
I think the short film 2081, or the Kurt Vonnegut story on which it is based, are worth considering in this context, too.
