Pelican - Final Breath
Southern Lord Recordings/Scion Audio/Visual
Directed by Matthew Santoro

Lyrics :

My love is like a red, red rose
That's newly sprung in June
My love is like the melody
That's sweetly played in tune.

So fair are you my dear
So deep in love am I
And I will love thee still, my dear
'til all the seas are drying

Until the rocks melt with the sun (x3)

And I will love thee still my dear
While the sands of life shall run
And I will come again my love
Though it were ten thousand miles

'til the seas run dry...
'til the seas run dry...

  • Pelican? Yes.

    Vocals? No, thanks.

  • the voice sounds a tad like Layne Stayley ( RIP) even for a band that uses

no vocalist in their music. I would be a great singer for Pelican, just sayin.

  • I just really love Allen's voice here.

  • @getupryan Yeah, I hate it when drummers actually allow the song to breathe. I'd much rather have my drummer try to be the center of attention by throwing in an obnoxious overload of fills and technicality.

Learn to appreciate simplicity and space.

  • i hope my final breath is like this

  • @p3l0427 Instrumental band

  • try the music video with Pelican's "Mammoth"...

  • i prefer instrumental only

  • THEY ARE FANTASTIC!
