I'm scared of severe storms, too, especially since they don't have basements or cellars 'round these parts. Could be under the gun tonight into tomorrow, and again Thursday into Friday. everyone that sees a shelf cloud thinks its a wall cloud..And most people that see a wall cloud think its a funnel or even a tornado...and whats sad is alot of people report what they are seeing...anyway a shelf cloud typically dont produce tornados but i have seen a funnel drop to the ground in a shelf cloud..being that shelf clouds are more linear.. tornados cant organize as well as a isolated severe storm..If it does drop a tornado look out because they can travel very fast in shelf clouds
