FINALLY I have heard someone pronounce "Frisell"... I've been saying it wrong all this time... PLUS another few precious seconds of an interview with the man! This is a great video.

Matt,

I love this CD, and everything you play on! I have your solo recording (yep, I bought it) as well as all the Critters Buggin stuff. Keep up the great work!

How many years have you been making music? And what all instruments do you play?

Very cool music, I think I'm gonna buy your album Floratone as a Christmas present

Townsend was so on point for really pushing the Frisell-Chamberlain sound way out there. Chamberlain both creates and accents the big, booming sound that gives Frisell so much to work with in constructing their fat-ass epic jams. Title track is a good a example of this. But don't get me wrong, I would still take the Frisell-Wollesen-Krauss (or Scherr) trio any day of the week b/c they are even crazier.

Wow. This looks and sounds fabulous. Anyone know when/if this is coming out on disc? This is indeed exciting.
