@Chunklake Anyone who downplays Mosley is either a foolish fanboy or is just plain unaware of his lightweight days. Sugar Shane was mind-blowingly good back then.
Completely agree mate. He and Roberto Duran in my opinion, are the two greatest lightweights of all time. He was a PERFECT fighter. But his best days are behind him. He is a proud man, and it must of been hard for him to put a performance like that against Pacquiao. It pisses me off, when some people downplay his career because of his performances against Mayweather/Pacquiao.
Mosley was scary as a lightweight. Can't think of many who would have beaten him at lightweight. Seeing the shell of Mosley against Pacman was an insult to the eye.
@VAD6909 I agree. He was so great, but as a lightweight. He should NEVER have moved up from 135lbs. If he'd waited just 2 more years (he'd have been 30 and still in his prime), he'd have had the opportunity to fight Jose Luis Castillo, Floyd Mayweather Jr., Stevie Johnston, Acelino Freitas, Joel Casamayor, and other many great fighters IN THEIR PRIMES, and would've beat them all. He was 38-0, 35 KO's when he moved to welterweight. As a lightweight, he was nearly unbeatable.
back when mosley was good and actually moved around instead of leaning back or flinching horribly like he does now
