The Rite makes me feel like such a hypocrite. I mean there I am "Yeah sure it's anthony hopkins but it's just made up religious bullshit." Meanwhile I want to see him play Odin in the new Thor movie. Then again no one is claiming the Thor movie is based on a true story just a comic book inspired by mythology..

@M0THERKN0WSBEST The makers of this "movie" state that the movie was inspired by true events. What were the "true" events? That there is a god or a devil? Or could the "true" event be that there are priest in churches or that old men have wrinkled faces?

I understand what you are saying. In fact, I will see the movie when it hits DVD. I like Hopkins' movies. But, there will be people out there that will take this movie as "proof."
