Why try so hard? Because it's not easy to figure these things out and communicate them. Much easier to just accept the surface impression. I also appreciate the challenge.
Also, little surprise, I don't find you very convincing either. You should also look at the Abu Salim trauma hospital - do you actually buy the rebel story of what happened there? There's your humanitarian intervention. What else is left but ulterior motives?

Okay one more... yes, NATO could have done more to avoid civilian deaths, but they didn't. 33 children in Majer, Aug. 9, for one. Probably 1-2,000 civilians killed. Trauma and loss wear people down. Mistakes like that happened a lot in Serbia too...
Anyway, thanks for letting me speak-some just delete, or allow but ignore. Those are the pros, whereas you, I presume, are more human. So I like you. Take care.

Videos promising retaliation? You mean of people being shot? Please share. See "video study: protesters being-shot, anywhere." Show me wrong.
Gaddafi - he didn't really run things. And I don't buy the demonization of the government that did - we were poisoned against them with propaganda, frame-ups (PA103), etc. Ask why.
As for hangings on TV, see"rebel atrocity videos." I'm on the side opposed to that, that was trying to fight them. Now they're in charge and lynching away.

Ah! You're alive! Good.
Sadly, there's just been a lot of noise suggesting the picture you paint. Eg, the threat to kill all of Benghazi-it was only against fighters who resisted. Any other country would do the same. They faced defeat, not annihilation. Read the text.
And compare with Tawergha.
I'm on the side of free peoples and free nations, not more fake-out takeover NATO puppet states like Libya's become. Watch for oil privatization, etc... that was the deal I suspect.
out of space..

I can appreciate your sentiments, but you were all grossly misled. The gov. massacres were all lies. There were no peaceful protests. No mercenaries, no mass rape, none of it. Your side won, "popular uprising" forced through with NATO bombs, and now we're seeing real human rights abuses that would make your stomach turn if you had the guts to follow up with research.
Sorry about that.
I dont understand why your trying so hard to paint a positive picture for Gaddafi and his former regime, you're not very convincing, I suggest youspend your time doing something else more useful.

There is overwhelming evidence, video footage, eye witness reports, and claims by the regime itself promising bloodshed and retaliation. Sure NATO could have done a better job of avoiding civilian casualities, but had they not intervened, it would have been a catastrophe. Who's side are you on? The side of freedom from tyranny, oppression, political and intellectual freedom, or the side of a quasi-socialist nutcase of a job and murder who silences dissent with public hangings on TV?
