@joemarie83 This is a tough age for lab puppies. Honey was pretty wild then, too. All I can say is to watch the D\"Dog Whisperer" show to learn how to control your dog. He is probably ready for dog obediance class as well. Good luck, and don't give up! They make such wonderful pets once they calm down...

i have a 5mnths old yellow lab,we cannot let him inside our house coz he destroy all our stuff.he always chew my hands and dry hump my legs.i can't take him for a walk coz he always pull me anywhere he like.. plsss help me

Honey is a pure bred lab from field stock. We checked out the breedewr carefully so that she would not have some of the health issues that poorly bred labs sometimes have.

If you mean how young, can you get one, the ideal age is 8 weeks old. But after that, any age is great as long as you pick the right dog with the right energy level for you! Good luck! Labs make great pets, but are pretty high energy as puppies and up to about two years old before they mellow out.

Awesome when she brings the newspaper!!! i have a Labrador Retriever of 5 months and a half(Born:27 of March 2010)he is my best friend and his name is Tyson he knows how to Sit,Down,Shake,Up,Roll Over,Stay,Fetch,Jump,Play Dead and Speak(bark)...Really thats a goog video!! can you please tell how can i teach my dog to bring the newspaper???PLEASE!!

@kalitaortiz1 He is ready. Start with throwing and making him fetch a rolled up newspaper and giving him a treat. When he is good at this, plant the paper in front and ask him to go get it and always reward! Pretty soon he'll be dashing out the door to get it for you. Your lab was more likely stolen than having run away, they are so loyal..But my advice is to get another one!
