In the manual it says the airbrush should never be immersed in water. I'm a newbie and ignorant to the mechanics of this tool, my question is have you had any problems after immersing in water and do you know why they suggest not do it.

I won't argue with the instructions. I just don't have any problems doing this for what that's worth.

It sounds like your needle is not moving back when you pull back the trigger. Usually that is from the needle chuck nut not being tightened down all the way. Loosen the chuck nut, pull back the needle and seat it firmly but gently and then snug down the chuck nut.

Great video! When inserting that needle, I tend to be a little bit more careful now than what is being shown because I found myself "trumpeting" out the nozzles again and again. Again...cleaning is the key to maintaining good paint flow.....VERY HELPFUL...Thanks crb1177

Thank you. You're comment is absolutely true and it is a good thing to point out. In my demo here I wanted to make sure that the video captured the motion of inserting and setting the needle. I'm afraid that perhaps I over-dramatized the process in my attempt to make certain that I captured the motion properly. Do not seat the needle too violently. Seat it with a good positive motion but not too violently.
