What a cool video! My great, great uncle was Andrew Voigt; Is BV related? :)

My Mom and her family grew up in Marmarth. I have a lot of great memories from there. She is also in the video at the 45 second mark along with one of my Uncles.

My Mom grew up in Marmarth. This is great to see!

My god, is there more than 20 people that live there?
Looks like a good time though!

Sorry - best public schools. Highest percent of students that go on to college and highest math and science scores on the 8th grade NCLB measures. I think the 3rd best ranking took into account the low monetary investments in the schools (as cost of living is low, that is more irrelevant in North Dakota).

They do have the third-best public school system by average scores, the lowest crime rate in the country, and the lowest unemployment rate. Oh well.

Marmarth is one of my favorite small North Dakota towns. It has a lot of unique character.
A good ol' time in North Dakota, America's bleak and empty low-wage "rural ghetto" state.
