Kathryn was wonderful in this, she has the type of voice that's good for this and radio as well.

Actually Kathryn's not from Oklahoma, she's from Texas and connecticut. I never read anywhere that she had lived in Oklahoma

I want to buy this book. I think I will enjoy it very much. :-)

I bleive it is the U-Tube that makes it hard to understand. I am an avid listener to books on CD and would bet money it will sound better on a live CD that hearing on U-Tube.
when was this auido snippet made? Just wondering.
Is this book aviable at walmart?

The book will be in Walmart and most other major retailers very soon. It's online at amazon and BN now, making its way quickly into the big bookstores, and will be in the department and general stores after that.
We recorded this excerpt in May. I still listen to it almost every day. hehe

I like especially with the voice of Kathryn Morris! Mr. Johnson: How was working with Kathryn? Why did you choose to work with Kathryn?

It's an interesting challenge, as a man, writing from a woman's perspective. While I certainly could read from the book myself, I feel strongly the story should be told by a woman.
I loved Kathryn Morris for this because she's from Oklahoma (like the character) and is well-familiar with the subject matter.
While the accent may be challenging for your ears at first, I am really pleased with how much thoroughly and organically Kathryn got the emotions and motivations of the character.
