Southern Sudan, even though technically still part of Sudan is witnessing a construction boum. But the country lacks almost all basic infrastructure. In order to handle the sea of investors flooding into the country since the signing of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement in 2005, hotels have been growing. But not all are best managed. However one of the best run hotels in Southern Sudan is run by an international staff headed by Mr Trevor Kandiah.

They are there to support the infrastructure of the country. They have invested in war savaged country to provide facilities to the visitors. I think people should recognized their contribution rather looking at a negative angel. During my last stay there I saw many young Sudanese are taken as trainees to provide employment. Positive thinking will drive this new nation prosperous.
