@mrdanielsir No, you shouln’t infer that I think you are a child who should play in traffic - that is just as overly literal & inane as your other comments; I was implying that you are just full of bad ideas & perhaps like a child, you don’t appreciate the consequences of your actions & it's horrible how irrelevant his bad mistakes are for you not to appreciate others who mourn the loss of this awesome musician…oh, that, and that people like you weren’t his friends.

Exactly, to each is own. He had problems, but at the end of the day he was an adult, and responsible for his own mistakes. Making dumb mistakes is not exclusively the province of youth.
Also, it seems a bit harsh to suggest that I go play in traffic on hydromorphone, especially if you think I am a child...

@mrdanielsir @mrdanielsir Mrr?? Sirr?? whatever… and what a pointless answer. Absolutely no regard for anybody. You probably won't understand why it's not a good idea to tempt someone with a substance abuse problem by giving them more drugs. When it's sadly already the cause of his death that anybody who wanted to do drugs with him, has done a heinous thing. To know he is dead from it already, is an irresponsible thing to say. I'm not telling other people not to do drugs. To each his own.

That's probably the reason you wrote that. Because you’re just a kid yourself, and irrespsonsiblity is the province of youth. To make dumb mistakes. So this is probably lost on you. I’m not telling you not to do drugs. I’m saying something altogether different. But in your case, why not go get yourself some hydromorphone, enough to kill an elephant, and go play in traffic. C’mon, it’s all right, you’re not a baby, after all.

He wasn't a baby...

Why do soooo many people want to buy him a beer or smoke a fat one w/ him when clearly his problems w/ substance abuse dictates that that is the LAST thing anyone should've done around him? Like a lot of musicians, he was surrounded by enablers & losers who partied with him. A real friend who loved him wouldn't have enabled his drug abuse. RIP Elliott xo You are greatly missed.

He was a musical god among men.

Actually, his music is depressing but if you watch his interviews people that hang with him have a blast with him and talk a lot. He expresses his feelings through music but he's not a sad sap in social times.
