Andrew Oliver and Alex Krebs have been working in 2011 composing/arranging original tangos for dancing. Up until then their focus was on transcribing works for sextet from the Golden Age of tango (~1938-1954) from the greatest orchestras: DiSarli, D'Arienzo, Pugliese, ... Their process of composing now includes trying to stay completely within the genre of Argentine Tango with a focus on making the pieces danceable, and giving each of them unique character that make them memorable.
