Green the Block is a partnership between Green For All and the Hip Hop Caucus to educate and mobilize low-income communities and communities of color to ensure a voice and stake in the clean-energy economy.
The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act includes substantial support to help build the foundation for a green economy. Pending federal climate legislation will deepen that commitment and help position the country at the global forefront of the burgeoning clean energy sector. As our nation undergoes this critical transition, we must make sure that the economic, social and environmental benefits are shared by all communities.
Green the Block Mission
Green the Block seeks to ensure that low-income communities and communities of color have the resources and platforms needed to access the benefits and opportunities of the growing clean-energy economy.
