  • on 6:25, you say that Bb5 pins the knight and black moves Bd6. instead of Bd6, isn't a6, Ba4, b5, and Black wins a pawn?

  • @jackblogger1234 If Black plays a6, then White captures the knight with Bxc6+. Play would probably continue bxc6 and O-O. No doubt that black will end up with hanging pawns on the c and d files.

  • Actually the most popular move now is 3.Nc3, because it's the one where White has the best chances to fight for advantage.

    I think, after 1.e4 e6 2.d4 d5 3.Nd2 c5 4.exd5 Qxd5!? is a better move for players who are afraid to play with an isolated d pawn.
