Hollywood Freddy Krueger / Gerard Christian Zacher

This is me, Gerard Christian Zacher, depicted in photos impersonating Freddy Krueger throughout the past 8 years. I started doing it for the Hollywood public when the trailers for "Freddy Vs Jason" were first made available to see. But I have ALWAYS been a fan! I have always done my own special effects makeup (I don't believe in cheating with masks. Freddy didn't wear a mask in the films, so he shouldn't be wearing one while out in public entertaining people from around the world, either. It takes me a couple of hours to put on and about 30 minutes of intense scrubbing in the shower to get back off at the end of the work day. Of course, I don't have the budget of a studio to do it exactly the same way the professionals made up Robert Englund, so I must do the best I can with what I can afford. As you can see in the various photos, I've constantly improved along the way. I've had the pleasure of getting permission to impersonate Freddy from New Line Cinema executives years back. And I've had the even greater pleasure of meeting the man himself, our beloved Freddy Krueger actor, Robert Englund...WHILE I was dressed as Freddy. He was a great guy! I've also befriended the very first Jason Vorhees of the original "Friday the 13th", Ari Lehman as well as Mrs. Vorhees, Betsy Palmer. Recently, I've become online chat buddies with Tuesday Knight of "Nightmare On Elm Street 4" and "Wes Craven's New Nightmare". They are all wonderful people! I was the very first modern horror icon to grace the Hollywood character scene. I talked my roommate into joining me as Jason. Then along came a Michael Myers, followed soon by Chucky, Pinhead, Leatherface, Scream, and Samara. I am proud to be the "Founding Father" of the Hollywood Scream Team - aka "The Hollywood Scaracters"! ("Scaracters is a term we coined combining the word "scary" and the word "characters") Yes, we coined that term, thanks very much! There's another video that showcases ALL of us as a team called "The Hollywood Scaracters". But THIS one focuses mainly on me as "Hollywood Freddy". Includes Photos By Professional Photographers Sean Bradley, Jim Knoblauch, and Mike Babine - plus a variety of other photographers. I appear as "Hollywood Freddy" as the main star of the gull -length feature films, "The Reinactors", "Fanpire", and "Living Dreams". And am also featured in the upcoming full-length feature, "Ambassadors of Hollywood". These 4 films are all due for release later this year, 2009. In addition to these films, I also have a cameo appearance as "Hollywood Freddy" in "legendary oddball" Denis Woodruff's latest film, "Spaceman". Enjoy!

wow your good I know what you mean the make up is a bitch! but it's better than masks pluse Freddy's all about face expressions and you cant do it very well with masks and it's funner with make up even if it takes for ever! any way nice to see some one who impersonates him as I do any who I do alto of my own make up as well as much as I can e ford to do as well.

VERY good make up and clawglove :-) music is top choice too :) you just deserve better light effects. some shots in a studio with some fog and coloured light would make these pictures even more scary :)
