Harpsichordist Ron McKean recorded a set of improvisations on his new South German harpsichord at Mission Blue Center in March of 2009. He recorded Toccatas, Canzonas, Variations, Fugues, Tientos and contemporary music. These improvisations were in the moment and unedited. For this video we hear one of his contemporary improvisations, accompanied with photos of the harpsichord completed & under construction. The instrument is after an anonymous South German harpsichord Circa 1680 built by Kevin Fryer in 2008.
Ehhhh... Dave Brubeck.

@Orchidbeautyful Meaning what? Harpsichords originally HAD black sharps and white naturals. Then reverse keyboards became popular. In time, the original arrangement gained favor again, except in France, where the reverse keyboard remained popular. There is no "correct" black/white key arrangement.
