  • @Mobi666 Thank you so much for posting about An Ending (ascent) by Brian Eno!! I couldn't figure out for ages what it was! I actually thought the Cliff's song was Eno's...

Beautiful Songs - both of them :-)

  • ... so I didn't realise this is actually a genre film, mainly film noir but then mixed with extreme violence. Seeing the movie again combined with these strange movie songs created by Cliff made me actually like the movie. Last thing, this specific track reminds me about 2 other strange songs : that song used in 28 days later ('An Ending (ascent) by Brian Eno) and that other song from Sunshine ('to heal' by Underworld). Check them out and comment ;-)

  • I recently discovered that some of my favorite (sci-fi) movie soundtracks were all created by Cliff Martinez. (remember the Solaris soundtrack). I was intrigued by some of the tracks in this strange movie 'Drive'. I looked up the soundtrack info after seeing the movie, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that this was created by Cliff. Originally I didn't like the 1st hour of the movie, because I was expecting to see an action packed hollywood blockbuster,

  • @Zeodore me too brother..me too!

  • @jackcarterog001 Apparently, this is the version from the uncut version of the film. Personally, I think this song sucks in comparison to the one I saw.

  • Just hearing this track reminds me of the scene, and brings a tear to my eye.

  • The song is different in the movie (more powerful). Why didn't they add the actual song from the elevator scene?
