FREMDKÖRPER (IMPURITY) tells the stories of three lives in a small town in West Germany: Berlin based ad designer Lars leaves his job and his marriage behind to return to the venue of his childhood, a small town he has not visited for a long fifteen years. In this sleepy place, he meets country singer Peter who refuses to realize that his career plans have failed a long time ago. Lars also meets his secret school crush Claudia, a single mother who has been stuck in the small town for years. Bit by bit Lars starts to ignore his successful other life and tries to get what he couldnt have as a teenager: a date with Claudia.

A film about right or worng decisions and about the realization that in life there is no such thing as a dead-end.
