The animated work of Jason and Aya Brown.

Dingdongs are natural balls of seed that develop off a certain species of fir tree and are named as they are for the bell-like sounds they create when their seeds bounce around inside them.
The Yamabushitake people, or "Yeahs", hold the dingdongs as sacred and falling of them is seen as cause for celebration.
When enough have fallen the Yeahs gather the dingdongs up and take them to make an offering to their Yamabushitake spirit-god deep in the forest. There they shake the dingdongs on the ends of long poles and keep the Yamabushitake spirit-god happy for another year.
