The purpose of the film was to provide an insight into, not only the way of life, but rather a deeper understanding of life. Nowadays, it is common for one to take for granted the many beauties life can possess, and as harsh times come our way, we forget the importance of the status quo between us and the exterior world. Normally, everyday people have a distorted view of the blind. At times, the blind are persecuted and troubled by the emotional distress we, as society, bring unto them; forgetting the beauty that blindness can bring. By producing this film, we set out to capture the essence of life's beauty as perceived by one who cannot see. More than just a mere projection of another blind man, this film broadens the scope through which many see life. Life is not only what you can see, or what others lead you to see, but rather the understanding that every single part of us works together to unravel the mystifying harmony of every-day life, that beauty does not lie within appearance, but instead captivated within the simplicities of life.

  • The ending pulled it all together, great. What editing software did you use? and where did u get the sound effect for the transitions?

  • Thanks for the feed back

I used a variety of software programs but mainly Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects. The Sound Effects i used were from "designer FX"

  • Oh, I use Final Cut Express 4, is designer FX free? nvm, it doesn't matter

  • unfortunately no, its not free.

  • Dont Consider Me A Pest For This But I Noticed A Couple Mistakes.

1.He Laughs When The Guy Misses The Shot. Isnt He Blind? Howd He See That?

    2. 1:16 Glasses. 1:18 No Glasses. 1:20 Glasses?

3.Not Really A Mistake But It Didnt Look Late And She Took Him Home. You Coulda At Least Waited Till It Got Darker To Do That Scene.

4.Beginning 4:29 Not The Same Scene Nor Location As Earlier.

If It Wasnt For These Mistakes, First Place For Sure.

  • whipcreamfart is right about the mistake #4.

    as of the others:

1: The original script had kids that laughed when the other guy missed causing Travis to smile. But you know volunteer actors never really show up when you need them.

2: Yeah, they were different film days and we accidentally forgot the glasses.

3: I believe it was fine.... i just needed to use backlight, wich we couldn't use at the moment.

Thanks for your feedback, it's really appreciated.
