If you thought the whale had been saved - think again - whales, dolphins and porpoises - need greater protection than ever, not only from the hunters, but also from the destruction of their environment.

The International Whaling Commission (IWC) originally agreed the moratorium on commercial whaling in 1982 on the basis of uncertainty about whale numbers and their ability to withstand any further depletion through hunting. Since that time substantial new scientific evidence has emerged demonstrating the severe degradation of our marine ecosystems. The survival of whales and dolphins is now threatened by the combined onslaught of pollution, over-fishing, accidental catches and ship strikes, global climate change, ozone depletion and a host of other human-induced problems in addition to continued threats from hunting. • Whale meat is very delicious, and I have heard meat of root of tail is especially delicious.

Japanese whale fishermen never sell the meat of the part.

They make it sashimi and eat only in oneself.

  • @namafoot you have the rigth to be killed by the same means as the whales..

    Greetings from Norway...

  • @Striker4928 Shit doesn't make sence. Why? Because Whale meat is delicious.

    U mad?

  • I LOVE WHALEMEAT.

  • really makes me ashamed when i see this... but so many people in Norway are against whale hunting so hopefully it will sooner or later..

  • Disgusting.

  • @Striker4928 Im not really norwegian(I just love whale). You're clearly insane and I don't want to talk to you anymore.

  • @Striker4928 :

Err.......You are not answering what I just said.

  • @Thelavendel Good! :D mercury is a slow death.. and towards the end a VERY painful one.. feed it to your family too, I want those inbred family members of yours to experience that. Oh and grab a gun and go to some island where you can gun down Norwegian kids. That's apparently the favorite hobby of you Norwegians too.

  • @Thrarin666 actually Paul Watson is a hero, you're the psychopath, and too bad for you, you did NOT arrest that Paul Watson hero, he ran you Jap-Norway types out of the Southern Oceans..and In Norway the Agenda 21 group is blowing your poaching ships out of the water. I bet that was your friend Anders on that island gunning down those kids.. he's just your type. Anders is a typical Norwegian from the same gang of child killing thugs and scumbags who poach our world's whales for pure sadism.

  • @jo too bad for you terrorist poachers of world wildlife (Iceland-Japan scumbag types) there's hundreds of tons of poached whale rotting in Iceland warehouses, since savage Iceland couldn't ship it to Japan due to the tsunami (which thankfully exterminated their whale poaching town) Japans yakuza govt is $100 million in debt from whale poaching and can't sell poached whale piling up in THEIR warehouses either, so they resorted to forcing the poison mercury on schoolkids in their lunch programs.
