Dapol Class 153 Review (East Midlands Trains)

Here is my latest model train review of my newest model train to my N gauge fleet. This is a Dapol Class 153 Diesel Multiple Unit in the East Midlands Trains livery that is numbered as 153302. The model is very good overall and the motor is a big inprovement as it is much quieter compared to my Dapol Class 67 where the motor on that was quite loud. The lights are good and there is a DCC socket and a socket for a light bar to be plugged in for easy installation (I will show you how to fit a dapol light bar in a future video). The model also comes with snowploughs that you have to fit yourself but these are a simple push-fit install with no glue required.

I.have 156 and.bachman dcc decoder but the carriage.lights.are none controlled witch.is poor to.say its plug lights.nd decoder

@mtty1988: Thats the only thing I disliked about the Dapol light bar is that unless you have isolated sidings, they would always be "on" which is somewhat unrealistic to have carriages lights blazing when in daylight or when they are stored up in the sidings out of use.

another good review, the shop in liverpool...you do mean hattons don't you??...if you do then what a fantastic shop!!! The dapol 153 in London Midland is now only £59!!

still thinking about dcc n gauge but fitting it to the small shunters scares me!!!

153302 dosent run anymore with eastmidlands trains hasnt done for sometime now last time we had to do works on it was september last year and even then it was beyond repair.
