The new Mercedes-Benz SL has been produced for the first time almost entirely from aluminium and weighs up to 140 kilograms less than its predecessor. Its highly rigid bodyshell provides the basis for agile, sporty handling coupled with exemplary roll characteristics and ride comfort. The new V8 in the SL 500 develops 435 hp, around 12 percent more than its predecessor while fuel consumption has been reduced by up to 22 percent. The new V6 engine in the SL 350 develops 306 hp and uses just 6.8 litres of fuel per 100 kilometres, making it almost 30 percent more economical than its predecessor. The SL 350 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds and the SL 500 takes just 4.6 seconds. -- The new Kia cee'd combines styling typically found on a sporty coupe with the space and functionality of a five-door hatch. -- Positioned as the ultimate Toyota Land Cruiser, the Land Cruiser V8 has never wanted for much in terms of quality, performance, luxury and unmissable road presence. That formidable combination notwithstanding, the newly unveiled 2012 model goes even further in terms of sharper design inside and out, more creature comforts and advanced handling technologies for exceptional off-road capabilities. -- Maserati has given the Kubang concept its American debut with the all-new SUV unveiled at the Detroit International Motor Show. The Kubang demonstrates the strength of the modern Maserati, capable of offering an Italian alternative to the most competitive segments of the market.
