the Obecní dům is one of Pragues most important art nouveau buildings. It was built between 1906 and 1912. Here are some shots I took of the salons on the third floor. These rooms where designed for and still host private and public parties and functions. Check out the last room in the tape. Everything in it was created by Alphonse Mucha - the murals, woodwork, sculpture, textiles, stained glass - everything. An amazing expression of singular artistic vision.
I get a little caught up in the first fountain - but it moves faster after that :-)
