12" SPX subs + JVC deck

I know the subs and speakers suck, it's just an entry level system that I'll be upgrading soon.
The deck I got from BestBuy for around $80, the subs, enclosure, amp, and wiring were apart of a package I got at Pepboys for $130, the speakers were $30 a pair at Target.

that bass note in the beginning when you start your car is an indication of a bad ground.

Yea I know, the amp is running off the factory amp power cable, I'll get it all done professionally when I get my new 15's.

i've been thinking about getting a pair of those spx 12's how did they work out? i know theyre cheap but do they get the job done?

They do add that "boom" of subs, but really I wouldn't waste my money on them again. The only thing worth anything in the set is the amp which is probably worth arounf $80.

tl;dr Buy it if you don't want to shake your seat and mirrors but still have bass.

It may be just the car that your in but i got mobile 1 to install the same 12" subs and amp and they pound pretty good. Actually better than the 12" 200 watt bazooka tube I had. And they shake everything. Even the radar detector jumps up and down. I'm just going to assume you did the whole thing by yourself or that your using the small amp to power your door speakers with that cause they move air in my car.

My trunk is sealed and that's why it doesn't move air in my car.

And no I didn't use any amp to power my door/deck speakers.

I have the same cadillac, and spx system, lol. Put your subs closer to the trunk lid bro, they bump harder and sound better inside the car

@paisa1990 to change time you have to press and hold select button untill apears the word DEMO on the screen and then use the songs change button to move trougth the menu untill you see clck H (to change hour) change it with the scroller then move to clck M to change minutes and press sel button and your done.. You can download the user guide book from Internet.

those subs hit harder in any box butt he box they come in. i got a single 12 in a ported check out my vids.
