The two openings for the Fox sitcom "Babes". The first one showed at the very beginning of each of the first few episodes. The second "montage" style was used in later episodes and played after a short expository scene for each episode.

Bonus: The first two scenes from the pilot. They serve as a good introduction to the Gilbert sisters (outgoing Charlene, cynical Darlene and naive Marlene), and explain the events leading to the three sisters sharing the apartment. The last scene ends with the infamous "bed collapse".

  • can u post more episodes please i love this show and where did you get these episodes from just out of curiousity?

  • @laplumper88 : I got these "from the ether"... literally, from the airwaves to my VCR back in 1990/91 when the show aired. Looks like I was the only one, or one of the very few, who kept any Babes episodes.

I've posted some short bits from other episodes in the past; see my channel. No, I probably won't post any more.

  • I REMEMBER THIS SHOW........IT WAS ON BEFORE MARRIED WITH CHILDREN!

  • @Phokhotic : Correct! Ding ding ding... tell 'em what he/she's won, Roddy!

Seriously, for the majority of the show's run, it was sandwiched between The Simpsons and Married... WIth Children on Thursday nights, with a brief stint on Sundays if I remember correctly.

  • Thanks so much for sharing this! Wendi Jo was soooo funny in any comedy routine she did. Great physical comedy, too!

I miss her. May she rest in peace.

  • I used to like this show!

  • does anyone have the episode when dolly parton was on and they sang backup for her??????

  • "I was a minute away from having my oil changed." Must be a nod to "Moving Violations," which Wendie Jo starred in.

  • Rip wendie i do miss this show didnt know susan died

  • Since I last posted this note, I've learned from a reliable source that the scripts were often rewritten at the last minute for a quick laugh. Remember that the Powers That Be were trying to hold onto the audience who had just watched The Simpsons, so the original scripts were "dumbed down" quite a bit on the set.
